Jubril Of Sudan: Buhari’s Men Attack Bishop Oyedepo Over Peddling Disinformation About President Buhari
Tolu Ogunlesi, one of President Buhari’s media aides has reacted to yesterday’s sermon by Bishop Oyedepo where the man of God addressed the issue of ‘Jubril’ from Sudan and its consequences.
In the sermon, Bishop Oyedepo quoted an article (a satire) from The Nation newpaper and concluded that, ‘If the President does not refute Jubril Al-Sudani, then he is not our president’.
Olatunji Dare, one of Nigeria’s finest satirists, wrote a piece titled ‘?Buhari’s Double’ on November 27 and Pastor of one of Nigeria’s LARGEST CHURCHES cites the SATIRE in a sermon (apparently yest) as evidence PMB likely dead.
I know the Bishop has always detested PMB (its a free world, really, the right to dislike anyone is guaranteed constitutionally atink), but I don’t understand why he keeps going this far to peddle/amplify (from the pulpit) falsehood and disinformation about him. Really puzzling.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has dismissed as wicked the cloning allegation against him, saying ‘‘It’s real me, I assure you. I will soon celebrate my 76thbirthday and I will still go strong’’.
The President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement in Abuja on Sunday, said the president said this when he responded to a question at an interactive session with the Nigerian Community in Krakow, Poland.
A Nigerian, living in Poland at the interactive session, had wanted to know if he (President Buhari) was real or the much talked about “Jubril from Sudan” -his supposed double.
President Buhari described the authors of the confusion about him as ‘‘ignorant and irreligious’’.
He said: “A lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. Some even reached out to the Vice President to consider them to be his deputy because they assumed I was dead.
“That embarrassed him a lot and of course, he visited me when I was in London convalescing… It’s real me; I assure you.”
The Nigerian leader said he was looking forward to celebrating his 76th birthday on Dec. 17 and jocularly added: “If I am getting harassed by anyone, it is my grandchildren, who are getting too many.’’
